Our yoga studio is heated to approximately 40°C and 40% humidity. A heated environment is crucial to achieving the powerful health benefits associated with Bikram Yoga.
We use far infrared technology to gently warm up the body instead of the room, comfortably maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the class. The wavelength they emit is in the ‘vital range’ of heat absorbed and radiated by the human body itself, making it a very natural form of heat. Our infrareds are powered by electricity meaning less dependency on gas.

Sweating helps the body to detoxify itself and drastically improves circulation. The heat also relaxes muscle tissue enabling deeper stretching which feels more comfortable with less risk of injury. The challenge of the postures in the heated room creates a stronger cardiovascular workout meaning more than double the calorie burn of a usual yoga class. The challenge presented by hot yoga also presents a challenge for the mind which leaves you feeling amazing when you finish a class and helps to build confidence.
